How to read .ai (Adobe Illustrator) file w/o Illustrator

If you ran to .ai file which is Adobe Illustrator file, and you do not have Illustrator installed anywhere near, try this:

1. Download and install latest Ghostscript package
2. Download and install latest XnView
3. Use XnView to open .ai file and to save it as other (more common) image format

That should do the trick (it did for me).
